For projects that have environmental consequences, GAIACON assists in the development and implementation of environmental management systems and plans to eliminate or minimise environmental impacts at the request of and on behalf of the contracting client. All GAIACON employees, contractors and clients are consulted regarding all environmental issues to clearly define responsibilities and accountabilities. The company encourages a culture of environmental awareness and care amongst its employees, contractors and clients through information, training and supervision. GAIACON supports green procurement and gives preference to contractors and suppliers that adopt environmentally responsible practices.
